BT50
The BT50 is a uniquely designed brake tester for the testing of brakes on trackless mining machines (TMM) as per either SANS 1589:2012 and/or ISO 3450:2011
The BT50 is designed as a stand-alone unit that is permanently installed at a mine at or close to the workshop where the machines are serviced. The brake tester can test all the brake systems i.e. service, neutral and park/emergency brakes with a full traceable report which is time and date stamp with a picture of every test. The brakes/systems are also tested with a 10% overload to enable trending of the brake degradation. The ideal is that the brakes are tested after every service thereby excluding gray areas around testing after intervention.

The MT950 is a battery-operated multi-track, ultra-low profile mechanized platform with interchangeable tool heads, operated via remote control. The major characteristic of the machine is the four-track which is individually driven by 2 motors each, for traction and swing affording maximum manoeuvrability in confined spaces.
The MT950 is designed to reach areas that would otherwise be inaccessible, thereby improving productivity while keeping miners safe by removing them from dangerous work environments characterised by abrasive rock and steep gradients.

In line with the Improvement of current mining practices, the Hybrid Locomotive aims to address the growing concerns around the use of diesel driven machinery, and its emissions, in underground environments. Designed to be a suitable replacement for diesel locomotives, the Hybrid Locomotive is designed to operate without the need for battery bays, or associated infrastructure, required for conventional battery locomotives, significantly reducing the capital required for a full replacement strategy. It’s highly efficient and regenerative power delivery system, modular design and inclusion of multiple safety systems makes the hybrid locomotive a competitive replacement for conventional battery locomotives as well, offering significantly lower operating costs than that of its DC driven counterpart.

The tracks on the platform are also steerable to allow for shorter turning circles and crab steering
